job requirements

It is very important to point out before reading any further that due to the tightening of UK & EU regulations we can no longer accept non-UK or EU licences.

You must be:-

25 years of age or over (for insurance purposes).
Fluent in English. An understanding of a foreign language such as Spanish or French is advantageous though not essential.
Travel experience is essential preferably throughout the developing world.
Tour leader experience an advantage but not essential.
Mechanical experience and advantage but not essential.
Willing to work anywhere in the world for a minimum of 15 months at a time. Crew are sometimes asked to stay in a particular area for longer periods if required.
In possession of a valid UK/EU driving licence.
Passionate about travel and have a keen interest in different places, people, cultures and traditions.
Keen to learn and to get involved in all aspects of the job, especially regarding the trucks. Knowledge of basic mechanics is an advantage though by no means essential.
