Meet your own tribal family

Himba Tribe

The inspiring BBC series 'Tribal Wives' has just finished but if you were intrigued by some of the amazing indigenous people and want to learn more why not go and see them for yourself.
Dragoman runs trips to some of these remote areas and with us you can experience how they live and how they cope with the harshness of their environment.
Himba Tribe - Deserts, Deltas and Dugouts
Maasai Tribe - Africa East and South or The Safari Experience
Ethiopian Tribes - Tribes and Wildlife of the Rift
All of these are truly wonderful trips.

A fond farewell

adios!

We have sadly just said goodbye to CJ one of our longest serving overland leaders. He is finally moving on and is going back to college in Spain.
Many many of you will have travelled with CJ and he is infamous amongst the overlanding community. During his 14 years he pioneered many of our more challenging routes through China, Tibet and Mongolia and opened up new destinations that no other company had yet to try. He was energetic, incredibly capable and would give any trip that extra quality that everyone looks for.
There are many fantastic stories out there and also some rather daring photos but anyone who ever came across CJ always felt they had met someone special.
He will be missed at Drago and we wish him all the best on his future adventures.

Indian is a magical place, bustling streets washed clean after the monsoon, exotic palaces, deserts and jungles where tiger still rome.
Our India family adventure in October is just perfect for those of you who love the idea of overlanding and want to show your children more than just the inside of a resort. This trip will open your eyes to an amazing country with all it's vibrancy and colour.
It is an easy trip and you will stay in old palaces and colonial style hotels but true to Dragoman you also get the chance to ride camels and track tigers - purrfect!
